The internet is a wonderful place.

Rhapsody Productions, a film production company based in Chicago, randomly came across and loved a logo I designed for a fictitious company called Take Two Productions for a college project. (Take a look at the logo if you’d like.)

They loved it that much they decided to get in touch and ask me if I’d be interested in creating a logo for them.

There was a little back and forth as I eked out what exactly they were looking for but after a few days I sent them a few loose concepts to see if we were heading in the right direction.

The Concepts

They loved two of them. The were torn between the greyscale film reel (last mockup) and the tripod / “A” concept too. Together we decided on the tripod option but I opted to tidy the font up a little bit just to make it a little bit cleaner.

The Final Logo

They’ve used the logo on their website and they’ve created an animated version of it for the sting on their showreel which is cool 🙂
