Every year, GoldenPlec, the website I shoot music for, compile a list of acts that they think have a bright year ahead of them. We interview and do photoshoots with these artists and we call them our Plec Picks.
This year I was assigned Bad Bones, a Dublin based artist with a wonderful aesthetic. Just take a look at some of her videos (which she creates completely herself) and see what I mean. It was great collaborating with her in the run up to the shoot. We set up a Pinterest board of ideas and together we figured out what sort of visual we were going for.
